Overview

Set above the dense canopy of the Bwindi Forest, the lodge offers a place of rest, reflection, and immersion in one of Africa’s most extraordinary ecosystems. Conceived as the redesign of an existing lodge, the project introduces a refined, contemporary design while remaining deeply respectful of its environmental context. The architecture balances comfort with restraint, creating spaces where guests can return from the forest and find stillness, warmth, and considered luxury. Developed in collaboration with Hesse Kleinloog Studio, the project reflects a shared commitment to innovation and thoughtful, experience-led design.‍
