Overview

The character of Port Alfred flows in the Kowie River. It defines both the form, & activity of the town. The Boat Houses are a reflection of the rowing, skiing, & boating that ebb & flow up & down the the local waterways. Taking inspiration from old timber boats stored upside down, these timber-clad cabins are finished with light canvas sail verandahs overlooking the water.
